The use of pneumatic grease gun
Lubricants are used to reduce friction between the rubbing surfaces of moving mechanical elements. Most often it is plastic greases with a thickener such as lithol and grease or liquid transmission oils.
If it is not possible to process some assemblies using an open method, then press materials for lubricating greases and syringes for filling oil are used to supply material to inaccessible parts of mechanisms. By creating pressure, they push out the lubricant, which, passing through the lubricator nipple, reaches the rubbing surfaces at low speeds and is distributed over all the cavities of the assembly.

Litol or grease is in a container that consists of a steel, aluminum or clear plastic tube and two caps. The back can be removable, threaded, like the Miol 78-040 or rolled up, like the Intertool HT-0063.
The front cover is usually cast aluminum. In cheap grease guns, such as the Vorel 78046, only an ear is placed on it to fix the lever arm and a branch pipe, into which an extension tube or a flexible hose is screwed. In professional models for harsh operating conditions, an air valve is installed on the cover, like in Groz 42901 or in addition to the valve for releasing the air that has entered, there is also a grease receiving valve, like in Groz 42701.
Inside the body there is a stem on which a rubber cuff is attached. It plays the role of a piston and, with an exact fit with the tube, like a plunger syringe for lubricating Yato YT-07043 cars, there is no false lubrication.
The fullness of the tube material can be determined by the length of the stem protruding from the body.
The plunger, which rises and falls following the pressure lever, presses against the space below, filled with lithol or grease. The lubricant under pressure moves the ball from the seat, moves along the extension and goes out.

They are used to supply lubrication to serviced closed bearing assemblies, prevent its exit to the outside and protect it from debris.
Inside the grease nipples, which are different for transmission oils and semi-fluid lubricants, a locking ball is installed. It hermetically closes the channel, blocking the exit of the material and departs, compressing the spring when applying pressure grease.
To prevent the open part of the ball in contact with the atmosphere from rusting, plastic protective caps are put on the oiler.
